Cedric back in the States.

Its been a few weeks since we were up in Ames for the Cyclones/Huskers game. Hope and I were invited to a great weekend of festivities planned by our amazing friend JenBun. For a girl she throws a mean tailgate. We had a great spread from food to drinks, next year we need a flat screen. We will put TDub in charge of that. Besides the big football game our good friend Cedric was back in the States. We had a great time Friday night with dinner & drinks at Legends, then more drinks followed. Hope and I are trying to save up for a trip across the pond to visit Cedric, but that will be years down the road. I didn't get too many pictures taken but wanted to post the ones I had.

I will be doing some posting this week with our long trip planned up to Estherville for Turkey Day. Stay tuned.

The Beginning to a Hempstead/Stevens Tradition

Barbie handed me our season tickets to Iowa State Wrestling for 2010-2011. Looking forward to cheer on the Cyclones and enjoying a few pints of Guinness before and/or after each meet. Hope and I will be tagging up with Fuzz and Janelle. Really looking forward to the BIG12 Championship tournament in Ames this year. Our season tickets include a ticket to that as well.

The Jeep is loaded up and ready to hit HWY 30 east in a few hours. Looking forward to an epic weekend with our Cyclone Family.

1st Iowa State Tailgate this season.

Its been a busy Fall but Hope and I are finally getting over to Ames for a football game. We will be meeting up with a number of our Cyclone Family. This is just a pre-post to the event. I'm sure I will have plenty to talk about after we beat the Huskers. I was able to get a sign made at Auen Distributing this morning. Our tailgate spot is sponsored by our yearly golf outing "The Dane Odden Classic."
